Sitting in the hotel balcony, watching this bird sit on top of a tree. Nice ending to day 3, second full day in Bermuda.
D stares at the ocean in the afternoon. Yes, we made it back from Hamilton in time to spend a little afternoon time at the beach. It had been partly sunny in Hamilton but by the time we reached the beach it was cloudy, but no big deal. It makes for more dramatic photos!

We made a trip to Hamilton with Rob, who is joining us on this trip. This dancer statue is in the above named park.
Our 2012 Bermuda trip this year started on Bermuda Day, May 24. Upon arrival, since the humans were watching the parade in Hamilton, there was a delegation of a hen and her chick to welcome us to our cottage style hotel room in Elbow Beach.

OK, so I occasionally play around with the blog’s appearance. I just discovered this rather spectacular theme by visiting Amanda French’s website for a graduate course called Creating Digital History. I am gearing up mentally for some more frequent updates here, especially from our upcoming trip to San Diego/La Jolla (tomorrow to August 19). Yes, I know, I’ve promised frequent updates before. 🙂
